No, not submissions as in school folk submitting to our every whim, but a call for material for the upcoming issues of the Brimstone Bulletin. It's the Mothers' quarterly publication that uses humor, wit and wisdom to confront the ever changing obstacles that ceaselessly arise as we are forced by bureaucracy and ignorance to diligently advocate for our children with disabilities.
We cannot share material we do not have - while the various Mothers will contribute heavily to the Brimstone Bulletin we are also offering a forum for other Mothers (and Fathers!) to share their humorous essays, poems, satires, commentary etc. with readers nationwide.
Additionally, we need material for the “Shame and Fame” section of the Bulletin. This regular feature is where you can share the both the amazingly ignorant and/or illegal statements/actions of your local school or community with us AND laud the pro-kid, pro-disability actions of enlightened, kind, helpful persons.
If you want to read them ALL you will have to join MFH2 and get the Brimstone Bulletin on a regular basis! :-) Oh yeah, you have to join!
